Esstudio Galleria was founded in 2011 when Aleks Abadia joined forces with Beauty Director Jacqui Arnold to open the location on 5 Queen Street, Chippendale.
Step into Esstudio Galleria in Chippendale and immediately you will discover that this is not like any other salon. And it’s not just because of the heritage buildings, the stylish vintage décor, the complimentary tea and wine menus or the cool tunes playing. It’s about the people.
Our main aim is to create a welcoming experience where you feel heard and understood. We are renowned for listening, we understand that everyone’s hair and beauty needs are different and we are here to make it happen for you. Simply put; our goal is to make you feel extraordinary.
It’s not just the humans that are dedicated to making you feel appreciated. You can expect a friendly welcome and cuddle from our salon doggies, Ox and Onyx, while we work our magic.

For Esstudio, nothing is more important than community, we stand together to support one another always. Watch this space to read about our charity, The Feel Good Project. We believe taking action towards sustainability is important for the hair and beauty industry and have joined forces with Sustainable Salons. We are doing our part.
We specialise in colour and partner with only the best including Redken, Olaplex, Wella, Evo Staino, Evo Fab Pro and K18. Our beauty services range from amazing Super facials by our Geneo machine, dermaplaning, microneedling and Dermalogica facials, make-up to lash extensions, lash lifts and fabulous brows.
For us in the Esstudio family, all that matters is that you are listened to properly. There is nothing more gratifying than a client leaving the salon with a spring in their step and a glint in their eye. It’s what happens at Esstudio.
Let’s get back to the roots. Esstudio Galleria was founded in 2011 when Aleks Abadia joined forces with Beauty Director Jacqui Arnold to open the location on 5 Queen Street, Chippendale. Both had mastered their craft and wanted to offer a new experience for clients in a space where creativity and style collide to redefine the salon experience; a space which allows the team to do what they love and create fabulous transformations.
Clients don’t need to sit in front of a mirror with foils in their hair. They can choose to sip tea or wine at the communal table and have a chat or login to the free WiFi and get some work done.
