Which skin treatment is for me?

I’ve been getting a truck load of questions from y’all lately about which skin treatment is best and which treatment is best suited to varying skin conditions. If this is something you’ve been wondering then read on…

Honestly, the best way to start your journey to healthier, improved and younger looking skin is to book a ‘Skin Consult and Treatment’. With this you’ll get a full skin analysis and recommendation for a treatment plan including the starting treatment and possible options that can be introduced for better and more visible results. Your first treatment is included too so you’ll be rocking out of here already on your way to better skin!

For now, here’s some starter info for you – check out the list below and it will give you the best treatments to begin with. I’ve added the most common skin issues and the treatments I’d recommend.

SKIN TREATMENT PROGRAMS

It’s true that all the skin treatments Esstudio offer can treat more than one condition but, there’s definitely certain conditions I’d recommend specific facials for. The thing to stress here is that all the treatments are at their best when you blend them into a treatment block or program. They work wonders on their own but again, as your skin responds it sometimes changes and will react better to something different. It also depends on how fast you want your desired results and how much ‘downtime’ you’re willing to invest - which can be required after stronger treatments.
In other words, when your skin begins to react to one treatment, it may be beneficial to switch it up along the way. Of course, this is something that can be assessed and discussed as treatments progress …like us with our wardrobes, sometimes we just look and feel better with a change!

THE LOWDOWN

Many of the treatments we offer have zero downtime, meaning you can pop in on your lunch break or head out straight after without any skin reaction. Others will need approx. 24-48 hours to settle. Chemical peels in particular, can take a couple of days for recovery. The treatments you’ll want to plan ahead are Micro needling and chemical peels. For those with very sensitive skin, dermaplaning may require 24 hours to settle. RED/NIR-Light Therapy works wonders for calming the skin and is often a great add-on to any facial (already included in any dermaplaning treatment. Micro needling is the only treatment that uses RED/NIR-Light Therapy as a pre-treatment and not post treatment as the skin responds better to healing naturally.

For more information on the individual treatments check out our blogs or come on in and for a skin consult. Whatever your skin type or lifestyle we have everything you could need (and fit in) for healthier skin.
