Micro needling is one of the most (if not the most) popular non-invasive skin treatments around at the moment. Loved by us common folk and celebrities alike.

Based on the science of causing equally-spaced micro-channels to the skin to promote the body’s natural wound-healing process; your skin immediately stimulates the healthy tissue surrounding the micro-channels to get to work. And when we use words like ‘wound-healing’ we are not talking about anything scary (just teeny, tiny MICRO marks), so fear not …you’ll not be hurt!

What to expect when you have your micro-needling facial?

Your skin is cleaned and prepped with our Dermalogica professional grade products. First a soothing cleanse to eliminate toxins and clean the skin. Then a bespoke peel to completely exfoliate away all dead skin cells. Before we head into the needling you’ll relax under our RED/NIR-Light to strengthen and soothe your skin as a final preparation – this is of course, the perfect time for one of Jax’s sensational head massages! By this time, you’ll be fully prepped and super relaxed. Then the final step, a specific skin serum is applied to your face and the needling can begin. The micro-needles infuse the chosen Dermalogica serum deep into the skin layers putting them straight to work. Finished with a special Dermalogica pro restore gel to improve downtime and amplify the results, which we’ll give you take home.

The treatment may leave your skin red and you will need to avoid the suns ray’s and makeup for 24-48 -hours afterwards. The healing time is approx. 3-weeks but don’t stress, you’ll look normal in 24-48 hours. The healing process of 3-weeks is when you’ll see the best result.

We recommend 4 consecutive monthly treatments if you’re just starting out as that achieves the best results. If you’ve already had a few sessions then you can combine them intermittently with other facials, peels or laser treatments. As with all skin treatments, the recommended program will depend on your concerns and desired results.
